The Twelfth Night of Christmas: The Burning of the Greens and Other Revelry at Camp Kanuga

St. John in the Wilderness

As we seek to celebrate Christmas in all its glory, this year we invite one and all to join us for a special gathering on the Twelfth Night of Christmas. Please bring your Christmas tree (the natural variety!) to Camp Kanuga for the Burning of the Greens. We will have a bonfire with mulled wine, Christmas carols, hot dogs, and other fun. Pets and children are welcome. Please remove your ornaments before throwing your tree in the fire!

No RSVP is needed. We will not have this event if it rains. Please bring your own chairs. For directions, use Stratt and Carrie Byars’s address: 120 Camp Kanuga Circle, Hendersonville, NC 28739 and call Carrie or Fr. Josh if you need directions. The location is at the Kanuga summer camp property, down a gravel road, which is on the right before turning into the conference center entrance.
